My friends 8310 restarts every minute or so. Goes blank, white screen, then home screen. I just got done wiping and installing the latest software for it with apploader and still no dice. The only time it doesn't seem to do this is when it's plugged in. Any ideas?

the battery is dead, needs to be charged or replaced if defective.

Actually she just informed me it does happen while plugged in. I assume it could still be the battery though.

unless it was wet, the first thing to try is the battery.
