Default Remove Home Screen Icons

Please Login to Remove!

Anyway to remove any of the icons on the home screen?

You can move them to a folder. Also, you can reduce the number of rows to display.

Just highlight and click bb menu and select hide or move to folder. I selected hide and ifvyou ever want them just select show all

When on the home screen and you hit the BB Menu you go back to the screen that has all your icons. I'm looking to change the home screen and just have 1 row of icons and not the 2 rows it has now. I'm thinking the only way to do this would be a different theme. Thoughts?

you can do 1 row by highlighting a button, in portait, press the menu button twice, choose options, you can change how many rows to display, 3,2,1.

Cool - that worked. Anyway I can choose which icons are on the home screen? I would like to have the messages, contacts, calendar, and browser icons on the home screen. Right now it is showing all of my different email folders.

yes highlight an icon on the full icon page and hit the BBmenu button the select move. move the icon to where you want then hit bb button and select complete move. Repeat till desired result is acheived

hi, I do that but when i press option nothing happens!!!!! it used to work!!!

There seems to be a bug as sometimes it stops working for people. Try a battery pull.

Yes... There is a bug. You must go into options go to themes> when in thems hit menu button> Reset theme. Although you reset your setting you will be able to edity the home page again from 1, 2 , 3 rows..

ok i have a e mail icon/a message icon /sms icon when i get e mails they go to 2 icons e mail and messages ,i hid the message icon but still the e mails go to the message icon how can i cure this many thanks
