wondered if anyone has seen something like this

i find there are all sorts of icons i don't want on my screen. i chose Hide Icon, and then i select hide from All Screens, and then i save. the unwanted icon goes away. i do this for a bunch of unwanted icons, and they disappear. but later in the afternoon (or perhaps next day), i find the unwanted icons are back. irritating. any idea what i might be missing? prefer not to have to hide the same icons over and over! thx

What version of the operating system are you using (and is it a 9000 or a 9900 as there is no 9990). Thanks!

NJBlackberry: sorry for the typo. yes, it is a 9900. the os info says 7.0 Bundle 1950 version 7 v7.0.0.440 (as read aloud to me by one of our help desk people).

If you have a 9900, upgrade to 7.0.0.474 !! It solves many bugs.
