Default About Blackberry Desktop Manager?

Please Login to Remove!

Hello,

I hope this is the right section for such question.
When I plug in my phone to the PC and run the Blackberry Desktop Manager it asks me if I want to Update , and then during the updating I get an error saying something wrong with the connection, I retried so many times and still the same problem while there's nothing wrong with my internet connection.

I installed the Blackberry Desktop Manager that came with my phone.

version: 5.0.1

any ideas?

Is the phone connected to a USB port on the PC? BB's do not like connections through hubs.

... correct, a main rear USB port, not a hub or front PC USB port.

OK. But where are you plugging the cable in? If it is in a usb "hub" or on the front of the tower, this could be causing your problem. It needs to be in a usb port on the back of the tower.
