A reset may be required. This reset may take up to 5 minutes.
Once the patch is applied, you can view the status of the patch in Advanced Options > 2007 Calendar Patch.

I (already!) have a report from another BB tech that the 8800 and 8300 he tested (with OS versions listed at the patch site) came back with the message "Calendar Patch currently not available for your device software version"!

I just used the OTA link to install the calendar patch on my VZW 8830, no problems. The site now says the reset will take between 10-15 minutes. It took 7 minutes for me.

This Patch Set, is it for any carrier or just a particular one? It looks like a rushed patch, has anyone tested this and can you pleae confirm what carriers this was tried? I am on VZW...

It can never hurt to try the OTA link. You'd go by OS version, not by provider. Here's the currently listed OS versions for the patch:

For what it's worth, this patch fixed my calendar problem. The other solution discussed here, re-sending the service books, did not help. I am happy this patch came quickly. The calendar bug was horrendous.

I have new version 4.2.2.123 so I don't need this patch? What were the calendar problems? Thanks.

It does not effect BES users, only desktop manager synch users.

Works perfectly for me here. No slowdown that I've been able to perceive. Corrects the calendar reminder problem associated with using the new BIS system Verizon rolled out a few weeks back.

Hi...just want to clarify, does this patch fix BOTH the calendar sync issue and the reminder issue?.....and does anyone have experience with these issues on a Mac using Missing Sync....???? Also, can the patch be applied OTA...I think I read it can...since you can't install software on a Mac. Thans

Has anyone had an issue with the sync not updating calendar items on your desktop outlook that are on your handheld? I thought the patch would fix this.
