Tony, what parts of the coutry do you normally travel? What carriers have you used? What are your thoughts?

I know you must think "Jugular" is up there because they are your current choice but we also know different carriers do better in different parts of the country.

Am with cingular due to billing dispute with sprint.

I run 48 states plus Mexico and Canada, except Washington, Maine, and New Hampshire, although the drive to Hawaii is a *censored*. I am typically out 4 to 6 weeks then home 4 to 6 days.

Been having a few problems with data in the deep south, vox is fairly decent but still has a few holes.

Cingular may not be my first pick for service but as i am mostly on interstate corridors, Cingular is the second best for coverage. Sprint is a close third, but has a few screws loose, and Verizon does not have plans that I can use, although thier coverage is superb.

I make absolutly no decisions without researching how it would impact my work first. Other than that I would say I am 85% satisfied with cingular. Any advice or facts would be welcome though.

You weren't clear on who you rated best in areas you travel.I travel a lot but usually airport to airport, they ALL work well there

I travel most of the interstate corridors, and some major u.s. highways, it would be a hell of a lot quicker to say that almost all interstates and most major highways have exellent coverage, but the further apart the towns on u.s. highways, the worse off coverage will be. Perhaps a running thread on coverage?
