Default Redirector - Not working, help?

Please Login to Remove!

Hi guys,

My redirector is not working for some odd reason. I basically says in the box "Result of last transaction to the device: Failed Forwarding Message".

Can someone help me troubleshoot this? I'm not sure why its not working.

FYI: I have the BIS package ($29.99) - this should work right, or do you need the BES package to have this work?

My BIS email accounts are working fine. However my Browser and associated internet apps are not working either (Jivetalk, bbweather). But my Media Net DOES work, and have that designated as my main browser - so gmail app works too.

Really strange, feel like half of my bb is working great, but the other side - who knows whats going on. Wondering if Cingular messed up my account settings?

Can anyone tell me what MDS is? I'm guessing that is the problem - while routing around, I noticed that Media net is designated as my browser of choice for everything except MDS related things, where I can only use the Browser (this isn't working, along with my apps).

Alright guys - this has been driving me crazy so I called cingular and am on hold with them.

First, trying to figure out why the blackberry browser or Internet browser aren't working, while my Media net IS working.

If you go to options, advanced options, Browser, you'll see the default browsers used to view certain webpages.

The top two, Default browser configuration and Default MDS Browser configuration - are set to internet browser and blackberry browser respectively. Both of these aren't working.

The bottom one, WAP Browser - is set to Media Net and IS working.

Is there something on my account that needs to get added to active internet browser and blackberry browser?

Thanks - on hold now as they are trying to figure this out!

First newbie mistake - Redirector only works with BES service! Will not work with BIS accounts!
