is there anyway to make the notification for having new emails go away after i've gone into my emails? i dont want to have to read all of them for that notification to go away.

also, is there anyway to set up my bb so that when i have new emails, there is some way to see which email account has gotten new emails without having to check each one?

Yes to both.

1. You can go to the date line with today's date on it and bring up the menu. Choose MARK PRIOR OPEN. This will make the message notifications go away and you don't have to read every message.

2. You can see each individual email account and a little red star will be placed on the icon for the email account that has a new email. I have added each of my email accounts to my front screen of my zen theme and I can tell if it is my personal email or work email that has a new message.

anyway to automatically mark prior as read whenever i go into that folder? seems so silly that you can't. thanks.

I Don't beleive so but you can press and hold your Alt key while rolling the trackball to select multiple messages and then Mark Opened.

When that red asterisk shows up informing me of new messages, if I go into that folder and then back out of it, the red asterisk goes away, even if I don't read the messages.
