Good day. I see that WXSYS provides aviation services such as weather, airport info, instrument approaches, etc. Any other aviation services or products for Blackberry you would recommend?

Thanks, Debra. I like the maps. The challenge that I ran into is that I can't enter airport identifiers with anything other than 4 alpha character identifiers. My home base is an N## airport as are a number of places I fly into. I agree; like WXSYS very much. Just looking for something that provides airport (and thus weather, etc. info) for the smaller airports as well.

I've visited the site but the explanations are a little lacking. Does anyone have any screenshots of how the data is coming out on the BB?

I assume one would receive textual data. Is there also graphical data?

How does this compare to some of the non-aviation sites out there as far as weather information is concerned?

At least WXSYS local provides textual and graphical data. I almost prefer it over BBweather. It was crisp, concise and city/zip/state information is easy to feed in.

No screen shots unfortuntely. But the radar map is pretty neat.

I am a corp. pilot. I use these sites very often.

Weather Underground (Mobile) (excelent site. You can look up most ecery airport and get weather, maps, etc.

FltPlan.com PDA (from here you can do a lot of stuff. The page doesn't fir very well on the BB though.

I do not use wxsys. I did buy it, but don't use it. To me, it is not at all user friendly.

How much is WXSYS? The website has a lot of cool screenshots, and mentions the 10 day trial, but no mention of cost of the program.
