Pearl Shows 1 Missed Call!
Please Login to Remove!
A couple of weeks ago, i realized that my pearl was showing one missed call. and it will not go away. I did all the trouble shooting i could think of. I cleared all the call logs, i deleted all my messages, saved messages. I was wondering if anybody else has had this problem, and if so what did you do about it?
Any help would be cool,
Thanks

Try intentionally missing a call, then viewing it.

erika, welcome to the BBForums.
Check the link posted by Thatzmister2u just a couple posts up. One of those solutions normally works.

With verizon, call your phone, leave a message, then listen to the message, when you delete them use the star button to end the call and that should remove the icon.

Dan, if you performed all of the suggestions, including the last one (Wipe and reload your OS), then you likely have a missed call...
What in that list have you done?

Oh, you shouldn't lose anything, as you would do a backup first, right? Make note of any registered or licensed application for which you will need to re-enter the code, etc.
If you need to do so at home, post back here if you have any questions.
Is your issue that it is showing one missed call? I would make certain you have performed all the other steps, including verifying in the Missed Calls folder, and changing themes, remove the battery while powered on, etc. I agree wiping and reloading the OS is a pain, but...

Okay, I just fixed mine and here is what I did.
1. connect to pc with desktop manager
2. go into backup and restore option
3. choose advanced under backup and restore now
4. on the device database side, scroll down to "phone call log" and highlight
5. choose clear and confirm
6. verify on device\
I hope this helps you guys, cause it was driving me crazy!!!

Thanks Dan... with your permission, I will paste that as an option in the thread...
Of course--that restores your Call Log to whatever date your most recent backup was. Any current or recent call data will be lost.
And you get a star in your crown for the day.

IS ANYONE LISTENING... I have seen the same reply several times. He is not talking about VOICE MAILS... Pulling the battery DIDNT WORK.
I am saving the same issue I restored the phone and I deleted almost everything out of the backup exept my phonebook and email settings.
It solved the problem for a few days. I did not have this problem on the old software only the new version.
I can not afford to keep restoring my phone because it requires an email to our IT department and about 3 days of waiting before I can reactivate my phone on BES.
This is a huge deal and nothing I have read has solved the problem yet.
I wiped and then restored my phone (only contacts and personal email settings)
I have pulled the battery. Checked my messages, deleted everything tryed everything I have seen here so far.
This is not the issue.
It says 1 missed call. If I miss a call it still only says one missed call. If I miss 2 calls it says 2 if I view both missed calls it will say 1 missed call.
It is not a missed call causing the problem otherwise it would say 2 missed calls when I get 1.
This is not a user error problem

Anyone ever tried this?
Messages Folder, highlight today's date>menu>mark prior opened>menu>search (don't change any fields)>menu>search. Works every time for me, hope this helps.
