My office has exchange but we do not have BES.

What is the best way for me to connect my blackberry to my mailbox? Remember, our exchange server is behind a firewall.

Probably through Outlook Web Access if that is available; if not forward to the BB account.

better ways. Going to the web to check email sorta defeats the entire purpose of a blackberry.

I suspect I can open up a couple of ports on the firewall so I can pop/smtp from my blackberry.... but not sure if there are better ways.

If you have Exchange then you have Outlook. Do you have a PC/Notebook? If so, use Blackberry Desktop Manager and redirect/synchronize Outlook and the BB.

Does the redirection cause all my emails to go to my blackberry instead of my outlook??? Or will it happen in both places? And how often does the sync happen?? Only when I plug my blackberry in and hit sync or does it happen continuously?
