I'm new to the Blackberry World (just came over from Palm Treo). I have a 9650 Bold on Alltel and I want to change the left side key (voice command key) to activate an App (Flashlite). What are the steps to reassigning keys. User Guide did not mention anything.

Options > Screen/Keyboard > scroll to "Left Side Convenience Key Options" and see if the app is listed.

(Note that this procedure is detailed on page 199 of the User Manual.)

If this app isn't listed, then you won't be able to assign it to the key.

Thanks Alot. At first I couldn't find the right "options" menu (duh). I just made the change and it works perfectly.
