The Options menu opens Home Screen preferences no matter whcih app you have chosen. Any clue that cand help?

If you press the menu button while in the home screen, regardless of what app you are hovering over, you get home screen options. Makes sense to me. Try opening an app before you hit the menu button.

Ditto. You have not actually chosen an app until you click...which of course opens the app, and then menu opens the app menu.
