Default Short Codes- Please help

Please Login to Remove!

I bought a 9530 which i am using in Ghana. The phone does not recognized the network short codes eg. *123* . It dials it as a phone number. this is a recharge code for prepaid network which i use.

i also have the same problem. *402# - this is my balance inquiry. but the phone calls it as a number.
any suggestion on how to fix it.
