And I saw mention that it was a mutual decision between RIM and Sprint. But neither fits the frame the media has constructed and that all reporting must fit. All facts must be framed as yet more evidence RIM is on its death bed. Nothing at all to do with Sprint's own issues, and nothing to do with Sprint "4G".
Not to say RIM isn't in a bad spot, just commenting on the reporting, and media's overriding desire to tell a compelling story and not let facts get in the way.
