I wrote up a bit of a HOW to for video encoding on a mac in the mac users section but i'm running into a problem with the videos. The videos playback fine but the phone seems to freeze while playing them. The pause and volume controls don't work and the menu won't open. If anybody could help me out i could improve the how to for the mac users on here.

The video looks good using isquint, the audio played for the first 30 seconds or so. I was unable to control playback. I'm going to keep trying and will post my results.

Are any of you guys encoding these videos on a PC finding this same problem as us doing it on a mac?

Yep...it's a phone thing and not an OS issue...you just need to find the proper encoding scheme for your OS...for my PC it was to use the Super C program...AVI...H.263...352x288...11:9...23.98...1 92. The videos are AWESOME, little or no pixelation and file size is manageable. I've tried many other settings and get the same results you have.
