Default Adding New User AD, not showing up in BES 5.0

Please Login to Remove!

How do I adjust the replication of AD with the BES server? I have added a new user in AD and its been over 3 hours and I have not seen it show up in the BES console to add a new user. Thanks.

how far is the BES server from your GCL? Did you add the user on a DC?

Is the user visible in either the outlook or OWA address books?

If you are in the web-console, where you can add users,
on the lower left, there is a icon "add user from company directory"
try this.

does it work then ?

Default Good old REPLMON

To force AD Replication, you can install the AD support tools & Resource kit and run 'replmon' from the 'run' field. Then connect to a DC and force replication within and between AD sites. If your BES is in a different AD site (read: Subnet) than the rest of your servers, replication could take longer than if it is in the same site/subnet.

Thanks everyone, nobody7290 route worked fine. I did update to 5.0.1 and well as the latest maintenance release here in the last week. It didnt show up, but the way nobody 7290 mentioned is good enough for me. Thanks again.

Default Solution

Sorry for the bump but:

In the Webconsole
------------------
Servers and Components -> Blackberry Solution Topology -> Blackberry Domain -> Component View -> Email

Click "Refresh available user list from company directory"
