Default Blackberry email settings

Please Login to Remove!

Hey all. I use a blackberry for work (monday-friday) and I just bought a Motorola E1000 for personal use. It has email capabilities and I am trying to setup my @tmo.blackberry.net email on it.

I am in the settings right now and it is asking for the following. I thought you might be able to help...

Account name:
Status: "Active"
Name:
User ID:
Password:
Return Address:
Email provider:
Protocol: IMAP4 OR POP3
Sending host:
Sending port: "25" is marked there...
Receiving host:
Receiving port: "143" is marked there...
Cleanup: "none"
Save on Server: "yes"

Thanks for any help provided!

2 problems --

1) I don't believe that you can POP3 your tmo.blackberry.net e-mail account (or IMAP for that matter). I tried once and was not successful.

2) The Blackberry data plan and the t-zones for accessing e-mail are two separate features. If you only have the Blackberry data plan, you will not be able to access your e-mail or other t-zones features without adding the t-zones plan as well.

Sorry!

I am not for sure with TMobile, but with Cingular, the only plan I need for web or whatever is my unlimitted Data Plan (the Blackberry plan),

Let me get this straight - you are trying to use the Motorola phone to pick up your BlackBerry e-mail?
