I couldnt get it working even after i reinstalled the OS.

After a quick search online, it seems that people had to send it back for replacement in the past. But I just assume that it is a software problem and there should be an easier fix:(

I just got this phone from our corp dealer about 3 days ago.


It is using the newest firmware from Telus/RIM 8830.

try to uninstall google maps, reboot your blackberry then go to Google Maps and download it again. if that doesnt work backup just your data, not third party apps, then go into handheld wipe and make sure you check the box for delete third party apps. reinstall your data, and redownload google maps with the link i posted. welcome to the forums (please dont post the same topic in multiple threads)

However, reset/wipe/reinstall os dont work at all:'(

The only way to get it work is to reinstall nav4all, run it and get gps working, then go back to google map/bbmap.
It seems nav4all was messying with the gps chip or something!

well you can do as i suggested and not back up third party applications. then do a device wipe and replace all your data from backup.
