The real question is can you use your PB charger on your Curve.

Yes to both though. I do not think the charger from your Curve would be able to charge the PB with an active BT connection or WiFi (or both) on your PB.

You would probably lose power just by swiping and checking to see what your battery level was like.

You can use the charger from your Curve on your PlayBook, but the PlayBook will charge VERY SLOWLY that way.

The output of the Curve charger is much, much less than the PlayBook charger.

The Playbook charger is much more powerful than the curve charger. Better do the way around.

Warning! although you can charge your smartphone with a playbook charger, it will dramatically shorten the battery life of your smartphone.

No danger charging a playbook with a smartphone charger, but DO NOT use your playbook charger to charge your smartphone.

Already posted in another thread, but RIM has published that the the PlayBook charger is safe for BlackBerry handsets. And I have been using it all along, with my old 9700 and now a 9900, with no ill effects.

Agree with aiharkness above - there is no danger to charging a BB with a PlayBook charger. None whatsoever.

I too use the PB charger with the charging bundle (see attached pix). It speeds up the charge and it hasn't effected the battery life/performance.

I have found that my Playbook actually looses power when attached to my 9800 charger or wth a usb connection to my computer with bluetooth on. If you want to charge your Playbook with a BB Curve charger, better turn off the Playbook or you may loose ground.
