Default Tethering with OS 4.2

Please Login to Remove!

Hello,

I noticed that when tethering via bluetooth, it's damn slow when compared to tethering via USB cable. When googling, someone mentioned that RIM may be purposely slowing down tethering via bluetooth. Any ideas?

Thanks so much,
Vincent L.

Wireless Bluetooth is slower than wired USB. There's no conspiracy here.

Yep. That's why I don't know what all the hype is about tethering/syncing via bluetooth. It's a good standby option should the USB port go bad (which has happened) but I, personally, wouldn't use it on a regular basis.
