I just purchased a BB7290 unlocked that im using with my T-Mobile service. Everything works fine but the web browsing is
very slow. I was showing a buddy of mine some mobile web sites that he was bringing up on his Iphone and the load time
of these simple pages were instantaneous on his phone but took much longer on mine.

1. Are there settings that I could make to speed this up?

2. Better browser to download?

3. Is this a T-mobile problem?

4. Or just the phone itself?

I believe that model is just GPRS, not EDGE, so it will be rather slow loading web pages.

Slower processor, GPRS . . . I personally noticed a big difference when I went to 8700 from 7100.

One thing to try is to turn off java and background color and that sort of thing, depending on what browser settings you have on that model. That will speed things up a little but with other downsides..
