Default Calendar Entries Removed on Sync

Please Login to Remove!

Hi, need a little help please, my pearl and outlook 2002 sync fine, however the process removes historic entries on the desktop, how do I make it so that they stay on the desktop for ever, but the pearl only holds future ones.

Thanks

I'm not at a computer to refresh my memory, but in desktop manager there is a setting for how far back and how far forward to sync with the blackberry.

And on the blackberry in calendar options there is a setting for keep appointments (15 days, 30 days . . . Forever).

If sync prompts to delete a whole bunch of entries on either the handheld or the computer, there is an option/button to re-sync.

Not sure I understand exactly what you are saying. Does the above give you some ideas?

thanks, I can see the advanced sync options, that seems to work ok, however on the actual sync process it clears 'old' calendar entries from both machines.

I cannot see an option on the bb to keep appointments for any length of time.

the whole thing seems to simply 'clear older entries, I can understand that for the bb, but need to keep on the pc.

help....

On DM 4.3 you can set to sync only future items in advanced settings. On your BB the next day when you delete and item it should not delete off your desk top but you can't sync the same day it has to be at least one day after you delete an item.

For your BB go to your calendar then menu then options then general options the keep appointments for.
