I usually like all of my messages to go into one folder, which they do. I decided today that I want them separate, and in the message settings i set it to separate. They wont separate. I've pulled the battery and re-sent service books. Still no good. Any ideas? Am I missing something or is this just not gonna happen.

No, it works... yours is the first I have heard it not. If you have the setting correct, you should get another icon for SMS/MMS, and yes, a battery pull should clear it up if it didn't appear immediately.

Thats what I thought. Didn't happen. Its definitely set to separate, not theme controlled. I pulled the battery again, still nothing. I don't get it.

Get someone to send you an SMS and see if it might activate it. lol, who knows. I have never see this Q before.

Have you checked to see if the icon is hidden?

Ok. Your gonna love this. It showed up in my applications folder, not on my home screen. That makes no sence, but at least I found it.

I think only the first 5 or 6 icons from the apps screen would show up on the home screen.

Only if your using the zen theme. I use the at&t default theme. its clean, i like it. I have way more than 5 or 6 icons on my home screen.

Can't you create folders on the 8300? If that's the case you're not stuck with using the at&t theme.

Im the wierd one that likes the at&t theme
