I think the 7250 is the first to get blue tooth , 7290 the phone audio is worse . 7230 -7250 have less memory / wont take newer OS due to mem. size issues .

Anything else ?

7230 tri band GSM, no expanson. Early model.
7250 is a CDMA model.
7290 quad band GSM, with Bluetooth

None of them are current.
None of them will have 4.5

There are lots and lots of differences.

I get the standard mix of reviews 70 % great 20% confused 10% just hate anything.
I just wanted phone and messaging / keyboard for big fingers on the older unit.

hi cant install os on my 7230.. having problem with the command prompt it always says
"not recognized as internal or external command,operable program or batch file"
what will i do. please help me... going crazy with it already

7230 Will go to OS 4.02
7250 Will go to 4.1 IIRC (You need a newer OS than the factory one for EVDO support)
7290 Will go to 4.1 IIRC

The 7250 and 7290 both have the much enhanced backlit screen.
