Red face Email/Password PROBLEM!

Please Login to Remove!

Hey everyone. Newbie here! Just got a BBerry two months ago. I love it, but I have one problem now....

I started to receive a lot of spam to my gmail, which is set-up to my BlackBerry. I changed the password of my gmail account and since then, i have not received any emails on my Bberry. I do not know how to reconfigure my e-mail! Can someone please help me?

The BB email and associated password is configured via your service providers web site.
the BB service uses the settings to communicate back and forth. It will receive an email without a password but to send or check the Gmail account the correct password is required.

Who set this up?

Login to the BIS account and you will see an option to "validate" your email account.

OR

You should have an "Email Setup" icon on your BB use that to "validate" the email account.

I'm sorry, I don't know what BIS is or how to access it. I am in my sprint accoun tnow & do not see anything of the sort.

Steve086, Aparently someone set up the account ( validated )for him without telling him how to make any changes. I dont have any ideas other than to suggest he contact Sprint for support. Do you know if the Setup Email icon stays with Sprint after setup? Mine is not there after i set up the second email but i can change passwords via the website on ATT

Try this...log in then you should see the e-mail addresses that you have set up under the BIS.

You can make the necessary changes from there.

Save the changes and you should be good to go from there.

...and there's a Forgot Password link on every BIS login page. If you need the User Name you'll need to call your carrier.
