gmail imap - delete from phone, in trash but has inbox label

i guess this is just a quirk. but i've noticed when i delete an email on my gmail account from my bold it goes to the trash in the webapp but the inbox label is still on it
anyone else experiencing this?
also syncing deletes or archives on the webapp to the bb has been better lately? i guess
