Default Is there a way.......

Ok this is out there, I admit.

My employer gave me a BB. I am wondering if there is a way to separate completely my business use from personal use. What I mean is....can I have two separate "user profiles"? The main thing I am looking for is to be able to have one address book from 9 to 5 Mon-Fri, and another address book outside of those hours. I know I can filter between business and personal contacts. Does filtering to personal only totally prevent me from accidentally calling a business contact?

I would just hate to be getting schnockered at the pub and accidentally dial a client and have them listen in on me telling my friends a XXX joke.

No on separate user profiles.

Filters work work fine... although you could still call a wrong number while plastered...

But if I filter to personal contacts only, and have no speed dials set up, it is fairly unlikely that something like that would happen, correct? Thanks JS.

Yes, having no speed dials will alleviate 80% of your fear.

Another 10% of your worry should be from accidentally pressing the green dial key twice... that will recall your last call.

So, before a good drunk, always call yourself last.

You can filter Address Book entries by using "categories" - keep personal stuff in the person category and work stuff in a work category. Plus, you can setup different profiles like one called WORK so new emails from jugs.com that arrive in your private folder doesn't sound notifications, etc..

Assuming that you are on BES, a good thing to think about is that there is no personal information on a BB connected to BES. Assume that if they want to see what how you are using their device, they can. That way you will be "safer".
