i need a little help with my blackberry messenger.
I have a storm on a verizon network and am on a bes. when ever i send an invite using the pin the contact does not ever get the request. i am able to get they're request but after i accept it they stay as pending. i was able to add one contact using their email address and i receive their messages but they do not receive any of mine.
i am able to pin contacts. and have spoken to my IT guy and he has not disabled the feature on the bes. does anyone have any clue on how to get this fixed. thank you

I take it your IT guy was all to helpful with the resolving this issue.

Have you done the normal battery pull? Or tried uninstalling re-installing the BlackBerry Messenger?

Before re-installing Blackberry Messenger a couple of quick steps:

On your BB, go into Settings>Options>Advanced Options>Host Routing Table>highlight any entry>menu key>Register Now.

A good test of PIN messaging before using BBM:

Go into Messages>menu key>Compose PIN. Put your own PIN number in the "To" field and send it. If you receive it than it should be working.

The OS that is running on your BlackBerry is it installed on your computer?

Maybe re-install it if so, their should be an option in to check 'BlackBerry Messenger"

You need to download and install The blackberry OS on your PC. BBM is included in the OS. Once you install the OS on your PC, then you will see BBM in the list in DM.
