I'm looking to get a blackberry for my wife & I know she wants a full keyboard so I've narrowed it down to the 8830 or 9000. I carry a 8830 for work but she will be using hers for personal stuff, gmail, facebook, ebay, etc. Which one of the 2 would you guys recommend?

Well...for starters Sprint doesn't yet have the 9000 series device (notice I said yet).

Are you looking to stay with Sprint?

Im guessing you are looking at the 8830 for its "World Edition" capabilites. Unless this is something that you need immediately, I would suggest waiting for the newest "World Edition" capable phone from RIM which appears to be the 9630. Its specifications are incredible and it has an overall footprint similar to the current Curve or 8900. I say this, mainly because in my experience so far with BlackBerry devices - the 8830 almost seems like the "forgotten BlackBerry" as seen by the severe delay in updating the OS to 4.5.x.x..
