Question User Deactivating their BB

Please Login to Remove!

I have a user that has reported problems with their BB twice in the last two weeks. The first time they were not able to send or receive and emails. I ended up re-activating the hh and everything was fine. The second time the hh was not able to send any emails but could receive without trouble.
After another re-activation the hh seems to be working properly.
Apparently the trouble began each time after the hh was plugged into the user's PC via USB.
I'm looking for any suggestions about how to avoid this problem in the future.
There are 10 users on BES and no one else has had any similar problems.
This user is the hh's second owner.

TIA

It is due to an improperly setup Desktop Manager. Completely uninstall the desktop manager. Be sure to remove all Research in Motion and Pumatech directories in program files and program files-common files. You will also need to delete all registry keys for Research in Motion. Create another email profile that has the same email settings just for use with the Blackberry. Reinstall the desktop manager. Be sure and select the Blackberry Enterprise Server option during install. Also, it will ask you what email service you use ie Exchange, etc. Before plugging in the handheld connect to the email server if you aren't already. Run the desktop manager. Choose the new email profile you setup. If you aren't sure about all this have the user not connect it to his computer. Definitely an improperly installed desktop manager will bring email to a screeching halt!

Thank you very much for your quick reply! I will give that a try and post again if there are still issues.
