Im trying to add a friend of mine on BB messenger. However, when I type his PIN i get the following message: You have entered an invalid address.

I have checked and the PIN is ok. One solution I can think of is that he is on BES and the BBM is blocked. Would that explain the message I'm getting?

Are you able to send him a PIN message (Messages -> Compose PIN)?

I did menage to send a PIN but still cant add him to Messenger. He replied to the pin

Did you receive the PIN message on your blackberry after he replied?

Yes.
In addition, I added his pin to his contact info and managed to add him to bbm using his name. However, he never recived the invite so it is deffinitely BES security policy
