Question BES vs. BIS

Please Login to Remove!

T-mobile USA gives me three options:
BlackBerry 4G Web - Unlimited $30/month
BlackBerry 4G Web - Unlimited with Enterprise E-mail $35/month
BlackBerry 4G Web - Unlimited with Enterprise E-mail $35/month

(yes, that's correct, two $35/month options with exactly the same description)

I'm assuming the latter two are BES and the first is BIS. Is this right? If so, does anyone know how one might configure or access the extra features of BES? Where can I set up my own BES?

Also, is it true that T-mobile can never differentiate e-mail and web browsing through a BES? I'm asking because if I use the Unlimited International E-mail plan with a BES, presumably I don't have to play tricks with the APN (see other post). Thanks!

Default Re: BES vs. BIS

For a personal BES, see a company such as ExchangeMyMail

They can host the BES.
