What model 7100? What do you mean unlock it -- (a) simply unlock device password so so you can use the keyboard or (b) unlock the device from the branded carrier so you can use it with a different carrier?

Also I suggest you remove the imei of the device, that is just a bad idea. the original provider if in America would be Cingular.
