Unhappy Zagat to Go installation problems

Please Login to Remove!

I have not been able to successfully install the Zagat to Go software. After the program is fully downloaded and installed, when I try to run the program I get a HTTP Reponse Code 403. Does anybody know how to correct this??? Any assistance is appreciated. The Handmark site (the firm that provides the software for Zagat) says the software is compatible with my Blackberry 8700.

I have not tried this app. Are you on BES? Can you access the internet with other 3rd party apps?

I had the same error and was able to correct it on my 8700c Cingular device by following these steps:

1: Turn on your BlackBerry and go to the main page.



2: Select the "wrench" icon or "options" and click your scroll wheel on
this.



3: A drop down menu will appear. Please scroll the wheel to "Advanced
Options" and click your scroll wheel.



4: A new drop down list will appear. Please scroll down to
"applications" and click your scroll wheel.



5: You should now see a full list of all applications installed. Please
click the scroll wheel on Zagat to Go.



6: A drop down menu will appear. Please use your scroll wheel to select
"Edit Permissions"



7: You will now be on the Permissions page for the application. Click
your scroll wheel again on "connections: Custom" and a new drop down
menu will appear.



8: Scroll down to "Reset Firewall Prompts" and click your scroll wheel
on this.



9: Now try to run the application again.

That sounds like the correct solution to me as well. I have a colleague who had a similar problem with ZAGAT TO GO on her 8700 and it was definitely permissions related.
