Default Blackberry 7100i Problem

Please Login to Remove!

i have a 7100i with nextel, i had that error 395 problem and i just took it in and they sent me a new one, now with this new one i do not have any of the nextel online icons and when i push the button to go to my browser it does not do it, i am guessing that i am lacking those programs and i am wondering where i could get them from, thanks guys

the only thing I can suggest is to go onto the BIS site and login and select Send service books.... thats all that I can think of.

Do you have an email account already setup?

im trying to set up my email again and it wont even let me do that, it says "the server certificate is not trusted by your handheld. would youl ike to continue with the connection, close the connection or view the certificate for more information", what is the BIS site, im still new to all of this, i appreciate the help and quick response

Try

Options>Advanced Options>Host Routing Table>Click wheel>Register Now

Also make sure you went to the webclient online and changed the device to the new one.

Does the 'Register Now' option send the service books?
And is changing the device absolutely necessary?

I wasnt sure so i did the device change anyways

You have to change the device or the emails will go to the old BB

actually where do i get the message service from , when i try to send an email it says "no message services configured. you will only be able to save draft"

Have you tried this?

Go to the Nextel BIS Website {https://bis.na.blackberry.com/html?brand=nextel}, if you dont have an account you will need to create one.

From the left menu select "Change Handheld". Enter the PIN Number & IMIE of the replacement BB. These are found on the BB in the Options/Status screen.

Next, select "Service Books" from the left menu, then click the "Send Service Books" button.

If this doesnt work, you may need to contact Nextel Customer Care.
