Guys, i have performed a search to no avail. So i will now ask. I have a 7130 from us cellular and when it is out of the case and not sleeping, the backlight wont turn off. It will flicker when it gets to the 30 second backlight timeout, but go right back on. It does the same thing if it is on the charger. Is there a setting that i don't know about. I never had this problem with my Cingular 8700. Also does anyone else have any thoughts on service or problems that i should be looking for with the US cellular 7130? I haven't seen much conversation on here about this service provider. Thanks.

Regardless of the carrier, RIM manufactures all BlackBerrys. This sounds like a hardware related issue. As such, US Cellular is not to blame. You can call US Cellular and get it replaced under warranty if you want.

I only ask because it seems to fix a lot of problems. Have you pulled the battery on the device?
