Ok here is the deal. I have tried everything I know of and still can't figure this one out.

I am on T-Mo BIS with 8700g using Telstra OS. I have 3 email address working where I can send, reply and receive with no problem. When I try to forward an email (does not matter from what email account) I get an error message that says 'Unlisted message error' next to message status.

I have deleted and resent service books, I have removed battery and SIM, I have checked all settings on BB and on email servers.

I even did a USB wipe all to no avail as I still can't forward any emails!

Update:

Ok... 2 of my 3 accounts somehow had 'keep messages on server' turned off... No clue how that happened but that was NOT a BB issue.

My 3rd email is on an exchange server and I am still having issues with forwarding on that one.

Any ideas?

HI,


have the same problem, just that i can not even send new emails. Same error same BB and same BES.

Can it be Send As permition on the Exchange?

Did you (or your Exchange admins) recently update the server to have the latest patches from Microsoft? Would you be a domain administrator as well, and have same account as both an admin and BES user?

I'm sure that unlisted message error can be more than one thing, so unless you know the answer to the above questions or can take a peek at the BES logs, it's just guessing.

I am having the same problem. My network admin patched our exchange servers last night and now I can only receive on my BES account. I get the Unlisted Message Error when sending (or forwarding) on that account. I can send and receive normally with my BIS accounts on the device. Apparently other devices on my BES are not having this problem. Any ideas yet???

It's possible you somehow got missed from the per-user/group fix to allow send as. Talk to your BES admin for more help on this one.

Per user group fix? What are you referring to? All he did was security patch the Exchange servers. Nothing was done to permission sets or BES.

That KB doesn't really help the situation. For one it looks to be T-Mobile specific and using BIS. Using another service to send messages is not an option. using BES should work.
