Default Changed rate plan to $29.99 now no Blackberry Browser?

Please Login to Remove!

The Cingular Browser is the only one working now that I switched the Rate plan to $29.99 from the $44.99... Did this happen to all or is this a problem I am having?

Thanks

Did you try sending your service books again from BIS 2.0?

If that does not work, Go to options and then possibly advanced options. Go into Host Routing table. Press the wheel and choose register now. They should come back.

Maybe this is part of the reason why Enterprise users still have to pay $44.99?

Fixed, I wiped the handheld and it all started working again.
I have IM+ running and the browser fine with the new plan.

Thanks
Tom

How do you wipe it? I still have the same problem... I even tried removing and replacing the battery.

I tried the same things, nothing worked.

Contacted Cingular (via live chat on their customer forums website) and asked them to provision the BlackBerry Browser and gave them my PIN. Problem solved.

Thanks!

This does not affect the rate plan, rollover minutes, or contract status does it?

I had the same problem when I chnged to the $29.99 plan. For atleast an hour the BlackBerry browser wouldn't work. I had both browser icons, but only when I tried the BB browser, it would tell me that the internet was unavailable. But when I tried the Cingular browser everything worked fine.

I took about an hour and a half before everything started working normally.

Just to tack on some info...this was discussed in the other thread at length yesterday and last night.

If anyone has the Browser problem after switching to the $29.99 plan they should call BB tech support @ Cingular and let them know. The tech will change some settings and have you re-register your Host Routing Table and it will be fixed.
Call this #:800-304-3044

Some people are doing live chat to get it fixed also, for that go here:

Here is the thread:

Yesterday, when I spoke to the Support rep, they said that the browser can disappear as a function of going with the lower rate plan. They can re-add it on the call.

When I called, they didn't know about it either. I had to physically go into a Cingular store and they were able to find it. One guy mentioned that they weren't supposed to promote it until 6/18. I wonder if that has something to do with why people are having so much trouble.
