Highlight them all by pressing and holding the # key and using the track wheel to highlight the messages.

Then press delete.

Some of the OS's have issues -did you upgrade. Try a reboot or a clean OS install if it bugs you. Or my fav, black electrical tape.

How can i do a fresh install with out wiping the data alltell put in my phone? I wana do a clean install and start over but not mess my phone up?

Also what does blackberry desktop manager REALLy backup with the backup restore feature?

The Backup and Restore function has always worked really well for me with all of my aps, pics, etc. You can reboot by removing the battery for about 10 seconds then replacing it. It will take a minute or two for the handset to go though all the motions once you replace the battery.
