Default bbSpell Advertisements?

Please Login to Remove!

Trialing bbSpell and curious where the advertisements for the trial version are supposed to be displayed. Within email messages (not from what I have experienced)? When the browser is opened (not from what I have experienced)? Curious as to how intrusive these ads are before I proceed with a possible purchase...

Is bbSpell currently under development? Seems to have been placed on the development backburner for now. Too bad as I was hoping to purchase bbSpell...

Hi Adam,

The ads will display after 5 days of the trial. We never modify emails. Instead, you will see an ad screen during the spell check process.

bbSpell is actively developed. There have been two major releases in the last 18 months, and a minor feature release 2 months ago. We are also working on another minor feature release that will better support users with both BES and BIS email accounts, and hopefully will ad the ability to "Always Check" messages.

Awesome. Will the upcoming minor update fix the issue with BIS users not being to use bbSpell when the device firewall is enabled?

I saw your report of this, but it is the only time we have heard it. Specifically on my Cingular 8700 running 4.1, I can leave the firewall enabled just fine when using BIS. We have never had anyone else report this as an issue. Have you tried enabling the FW and resetting the settings? If this doesn't work, what error do you get.
