Here's a work around.

Simply print the PDF document and then "tape it to the Plasma screen".....

You guys totally missed the battery door issue.

"Anybody notice on their new 8800 that the door is made of special Moose Crap Remulac that moves in and out with each key press."

Solution is to rip your fingernail off and put it between the cover and the battery because it provides just enough give but tightens up the keyboard.

How about the 3369 different skins for the 8800 and the special hypersensitive skin for the trackball itself!

Yesterday I updated to the O2 OS, and now when my girlfriend calls, if accidentally I move the trackball while the phone is ringing, the ringer gets silenced and the call is transferred to my home number (where my wife may answer).

I don't think I had this problem with TMO or Rogers--is this a feature of the European version? Is there a workaround?

You think you all have problems. The Ball (pearl) on my 8800 only does 4 colors before it repeats. I thought there were 64K colors?

What am I doing wrong?

Actually I did notice the very exotic Moose Crap Remulac composite battery door.

Frankly I found it very interesting and wondered just why they chose this material as the cost is astronomical. However that said, apparently there is nothing to good for BlackBerry users.

The reason the battery door moves in and out with each key press is that the 8800 will be presented as a full interactive experience. An experience where the BlackBerry feels "alive" instead of just a cold stiff device in your hands.

Upon closer inspection you will notice that as you type your emails the keys actually "rise up" to meet your fingers, thereby increasing speed and reducing finger fatigue.

The AI will learn your voice, tone, diction, pacing etc and actually take over speaking for you to reduce the danger of a dry sore throat, or worse!

I must stop sharing this sensitive advance information with you now, as these features are "top secret" and the ticking under my chair is becoming louder and I smell smoke? Is it because I've just violated my NDA? ....

and don't forget...

I can't see any email on my 8800 and for some reason the date says it's March 1 of 2005.

All this talk about the 8800 makes me want it pretty bad.

I don't want to give up the Pearl though. Maybe I'll make the Pearl my backup phone

I do too, especially the Indigo in Black, as I do not need a camera.

I'm simply hoping that is has a reasonably sized comfortable keyboard.
