Default BES Development

Please Login to Remove!

Hi

I am just getting started with Java dev using the JDE 4.0.2. I'm fairly comfortable writing code for the device, but want to know more about development on the BB Ent Server.

I don't know the first thing about the BES and cannot seem to find any documents related to development. In particular:

Possible to write Java code/modules on BES, accessible by handheld apps?
Useful links?
Can I download a BES and make a connection with the simulator?

Thanks a lot
John

Normale you have write your Java Applications on an Application-Server,Web-Server etc. From this Server you push data etc. trough the MDS of the BES to the Client.
Requests from the client takes the MDS/BES and checks the client. MDS/BES is mostly in the middle of Client and Web-Servers/ Internet/ Sql-Servers or Application-Servers
I hope you understand my bad english.

OK, thanks for the replies. I think I see the architecture more clearly now.
