hey mods!

just something i thought we should add to the area of where you can see the users info when they post... like the area under the avatar... i was thinking we should put a place to post our current OS for the device we are using... that will be helpful in helping others

not a bad suggestion (keep in mind many do not even put the correct model). Most will not use it, or place the wrong OS in the blank. It can always be posted, or you can always post it in your post. (also, congrats on 1k on your next post)

Not sure on this. I think flaunting you have a beta operating system when you clearly shouldn't is a bad idea. You can always toss it into your signature, but as for under the avatar, like stated before, most people do not fill the correct info in, so it would just add to clutter.

And considering that most folks fill out the profile when they join they most likely will not know what OS or how to even check it being new. It might be helpful for troubleshooting though.

is there a way to have there but optional? like if its left blank in the user control panel it doesnt show up when you post under the avatar?

No. It will always say "OS:"
