Default What kind of server is this forum running on?

I've noticed blackberryforums.com is temperamental at times and needs a reload just to properly load a page. It's not a complaint, I'm really enjoying this place...just an observation. Think it would be ironic if the forum is running on a server that uses Microsoft software (since I made the leap to a Blackberry in the first place to further escape the clutches of MS). Anyway, just my 2 cents.....

what browser are you using? i have no problems with page rendering, i did with ms ie 8 beta 1 where it butchered the site, firefox work fine, ie 7.0 or ie 8.0 beta 1 emulating ie 7 works fine.

have you tried to clear cookies / saved / personal data?

It's not so much a page rendering issue because when it loads it loads fine. It's more of a page loading times becoming unreasonably long.

is it just this forum, or others? loading times is varied on a few factors, your connection routing to it, also server load / bandwidth on both sides. then you have stuff that runs locally like firewalls, anti virus spy ware programs. where they might first scan the sites before it gets to the browser.

edit:

also if you run p2p or other services where its maxing your speed upload wise, pages might be slow to load.

I'm on 3 different forum sites and this is the only I've got problems with. I've got enough bandwidth for a small city...

According to info in the whois, it's running Apache/1.3.41 (Unix).

Sometimes it hangs for me when I click the BlackBerry General Forums section.
