I just made a post to the Buy/Sell Forum that I need to edit. For some reason, the Edit button does not appear and the Posting Rules for that thread say I cannot edit it. How come?

Knocka, users are not allowed to edit their own posts in the BST section (to keep a user from changing details after the fact). Just post a new thread and I will delete the old--or just make a correction in a post in the current thread.

It is a precaution in the Buy Sell area to keep unscrupulous users from making changes to their post after a sale, or such. Since we are not eBay, etc., and don't have the greater privilege of those eBay precautions, this is one.
