Question How to request activation e-mail to be resent?

Please Login to Remove!

I signed up for a new account and was sent an activation e-mail, but when I went into my spam filter to accept the mail I deleted it instead DOH!

I really liked the UserName and password I chose... how do I have a new activation mail sent without creating a whole new account??

Thanks for anyone's help on this!

We don't have an "activation" email for BlackBerryForums. You would have gotten a simple 'Welcome' email.

it was sent from this forum to confirm my registration. Said I needed to click on the link in the forum to complete the process. So I can post in this section, but if I try to post in the other sections it says I need to complete the registration process first.

So I'm looking for the original/only e-mail I received when I registered to be able to post here.

Does that help??

It helps, but it looks like you are registered just fine.

Hold tight a second.

AWESOME!! Thank you, thank you, Thank YOU!

I was sent a password reset, but before seeing that I just went into the other forums and now I can post. So I'm all good. Since I like the password I have, I'll ignore that e-mail.

If you sent me the private message, I couldn't see it because I had pop-up blocker going.. which is now turned off for this site (technology can protect us TOO much sometimes, lol).

Anyway, thanks again going out to whomever helped me out!!

You can go ahead and delete this thread if you wish so no one has to waste their time reading it, lol.

I'm all good to go now and appreciate the fast and efficient support!

Rock on,
SC

No no, we need boring things around here for those days when here are no major emergencies, like lost psuedo-activation emails...

(Which I still say we don't use, its a very kind welcome email).

Well then... there's the rub, eh? If I didn't DELETE the e-mail that said I needed to reply... I could forward it to you to show you what I'm talking about... and had I taken a sreeenshot of the message that said I couldn't post yet... then I'd have proof.. but here I am loley first time to these forums and you are Grand Master of ALL Answers....

(plus looks like you already helped me out in the another forum too)...

I concede that you are RIGHT (as I bow down) and I must be mistaken.

Thanks again for your support!
