I didn't sign up tio this forum to be spammed for some stupid contest, either in my formum email inbox not my work email inbox.

You aren't being spammed. You agreed to it in the registration.

I believe two or three emails have been sent from this forum in the four year history. Total.

Wow, that has to be one of the more negative first posts I have seen. Its actually fairly simple to just delete the email notification when it comes in. If you really are that upset about it, just set up a filter to block out the emails you don't want to see. Generally this is the purpose of a "spam" filter.

And I thought BlackBerryForums needed to send out more updates on things...

Takes more than 2-3 days to select the winners. With the huge influx of new entries we do have to go over all the IP addresses/registered users to make sure that people are not entering multiple times. I am sure Tom will post them winners as soon as the process is complete.

I don't think I haven't ever recieved a email about the contests...maybe it's cause I'm on here most of the time. I dunno, I agree with Troy I wouldn't mind receiving more updates

I was under the impression if adjust your options in user cp there is something to say "Do not recieve emails from administrators" or something...

Check your settings if you do not want to receive these emails
