There seems to be A LOT of confusion over GPS use with Verizon. Would it be possible to get an official post/sticky started for this one?

It doesn't necessarily have to be just about Verizon. It would be nice to see how the other carriers deal with GPS as well. Nice to see a little compare and contrast.
