Default Question re "parent question on texts" - 02-12-2009, 01:31 AM

from that thread "Your porn links in the other thread will also be deleted, as that is NOT allowed here. Another violation of our terms."

I checked out the p0rn thread. If the links are in violation of the agreement, why are all the other 20+ links still listed? I would think they should be removed also.

Default which one is it? - 02-12-2009, 02:07 AM

So which one is it?

"We dont know who you are so we can't tell you how to view texts on your daughters bb because you might be a perv trying to spy on a teenager"

*or*

"Sure, no problem, ha ha ha ha ha... let's supply this "kid" with some links to porn (because that is ok) and oh by the way, do his parents know what hes doing with his phone? But, wait, the "kid" might just as well be a perv for all we know (only his first post).. but that's ok too"

Hypocrites much? The logic doesn't float.

So perhaps a more appropriate answer to the porn question would be to quote your terms of agreement that states no porn sites allowed.

I'm very confused. In all honestly I am not trying to pick a fight however the general attitude on this forum is quite bi- polar.

How many times we listen stories on the news about kids that disappear and the suspects are people they met on pages like MySpace, facebook or any of the other messenger services.

To have a MySpace page you should have at least 14 years. In PR a 12 years old girl disappear, she was found dead some weeks later and she was murdered by a 27 years old man she met on MySpace. She had 12 years old and she had a MySpace account. In her profile she said she had 17. Where the parents of this girl when she spokes with a man of 27 years?

Kids can find porn every where... they don't need to join this forum, they can do a Google search and find it.

Who has the responsibility to supervise what the Kids do in the Internet? The people on the internet or their parents?

People should start taking care of their kids and stop point their finger to someone else...

Don't blame the Mods of this forum about the behavior of a kid that no one is a 100 % sure if he is a kid or not.

They are here to help and they did answer the text message question. If you don't like the answer, you should ask to the people of RIM or your service Carrier. But I'm sure you will got the same answer you found here.

You sure do criticize a lot' almost every post you have made has been negative. I think you need to use those porn links and relieve some tension.

Geez take a chill pill.

Wootwho, since you asked... that user has been banned from this Forum. Under his previous account, his membership here was at the least questionable due to violating the terms of service here. Last night when I discovered (yes, because he went from being helpful to crapping in that thread and making personal attacks on me) I thought his 'posting' seemed familiar. Some quick research and I found he was identical to another user account. That in itself was good reason to ban both names. This has happened before and a user would simply PM one of the moderators and get the accounts straightened out. When confronted on the issue, he took the conversation downhill real quickly. And I will add, there is much more to this situation that you know.

I personally haven't examined that p0rn thread. When I was alerted by another moderator of the link, that moderator deleted it.

Why do you choose to come here in 3-4 posts and be so negative? What is your motive? Please, do tell.

Find yourself being helpful around here, assist some users and then come and criticize the work we do. It will be welcome then. It is not now.
